Welland Help · Updated September 18, 2026
This is not legal advice. It is a plain-language notice for a volunteer neighbour directory.
No advertisements. No paid placements. Goodwill only.
What this site is
An unofficial, volunteer-run list of publicly available information about free and public help services for Welland and nearby Niagara (plus region-wide programs that serve Welland). It is offered in good faith so neighbours can find starting points faster — food, housing, crisis lines, health, and related supports.
We want the directory to stay as helpful as possible, and we are willing to expand or improve it in any way we reasonably can (new verified listings, clearer wording, accessibility, sibling city pages, and corrections from the community).
No ads — goodwill only
This site does not accept advertisements, sponsored listings, pay-to-rank placements, or payment to appear ahead of another organization. Listings are chosen for public usefulness, not for money.
Related projects (for example GetAPage’s occasional free charity one-pager, when capacity allows) are separate goodwill offers — not ads on this directory, and not a requirement to be listed here.
What this site is not
Not an emergency service. Not medical, mental-health, legal, housing, or financial advice. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by 211, Niagara Region, the City of Welland, Hope Centre, The Salvation Army, or any listed organization unless explicitly stated. Not a guarantee that any program has space, funding, eligibility, or unchanged hours.
We do not provide services through this website. We do not place calls for you. Crisis numbers such as 911 and 988 are shown as information only — dial or text them on your own phone.
Official system of record
For live local referrals, use 211 Ontario (call 211 on your phone) or the organization’s own website and phone number. This directory is a backup map, not a replacement for 211 or the agencies themselves.
Your responsibility
Always verify information by calling or using the official link before you travel or rely on a program. Hours, addresses, and eligibility change.
If you are in immediate danger, dial 911 on your phone. If you are in a suicide crisis, dial or text 988 on your phone.
Expanding the directory
Suggestions are welcome — missing programs, clearer instructions, translation needs, or a listing that should be removed. If you represent an organization, we will prioritize accurate official details you send us.
